Let the games begin! The Penguin Games have finally arrived! Your penguin can do three events: The Three Lap Race, The Freestyle Swim, and the Marathon. Complete them all and win a medal!
The Three Lap Race:
Race around the Iceberg three times! Remember, you have to stop at all the lights. Sometimes this game glitches and you can complete it quickly.
The Freestyle Swim:
Start on the left side of the pool underground and swim across. Wait for the arrows to change direction before swimming the other way.
The Marathon:
Run a marathon across Club Penguin! To complete this, you have to stop at EVERY light. If a light doesn’t work, check if you missed one in that room or the one before.
There are three free items at this party, the red face paint (at the Coffee Shop), the blue face paint (at the Pizza Parlor), and the medal (win all three events).

That’s right everyone- from August 22nd to 26th, penguins all over the island will be competing in events in the very first PENGUIN GAMES. Hosted by your pals Rory and Rookie (lol Rookie). So get training, cause the games will begin in a matter of weeks!!

The Music Fest started today, and boy is there a lot of cool stuff! First of all, there’s the new game, the DJ3K. Not exactly a money-maker, but still kind of entertaining for thirty seconds. You can’t make much music, because half of the buttons make sound effects… >.<

By the way, the keyboard is out of tune (how is that possible??), if you don’t believe me, go test it, they’re all a note off…
Anyway, what really surprised me was that the LOUNGE was decorated! And when that happens, it’s an important party.
On top of that, there’s a ton of stuff you can buy at the Snow Forts and Back Stage (at the Dock). They brought back almost all the instruments (except the black and pink guitars, but there’s a new base guitar), and for non-members, there’s a free shirt at the Plaza, and the maracas returned at the Cove. Here are the item prices:

Some of the underground rooms have interesting things to do, like the floor piano in the pool (don’t worry, this one’s in tune). I’m a fan of the APPLAUSE button in the lower right-hand corner of some of the rooms.
